About Christopher
Chris Benoit is partner at Benoit Legal, PLLC. He specializes in a practice representing both: (1) workers in employment matters; and (2) communities facing law enforcement misconduct and civil rights violations throughout New Mexico and West Texas. He also handles a variety of public transparency and corruption cases in New Mexico, Texas, and federal courts.
Before joining his firm, Christopher worked on legal and organizing strategies as an attorney at the Proyecto de Derechos Económicos Sociales y Culturales, AC (ProDESC) in Mexico City and started the Economic Justice Project in El Paso, Texas with the Texas Civil Rights Project. He also worked for seven years with Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, Inc. representing farmworkers and victims of civil rights abuses.
Chris is a graduate of the Keenan Trial Institute and is a a faculty member teaching Closings – Liability.
