About David
David grew up in Norwalk, Ohio [his high school mascot was a truck]. He is the first lawyer in his family. From day one, he has exclusively represented injury victims. His wife, Karen [married since 1992], is his long-time paralegal. Their oldest son, Jedidiah, is a lawyer at the firm.
He graduated from the of University of Dayton, summa cum laude, in 1987. He received his degree in Communication Management. In 1990, he graduated, with honors, from THE Ohio State University.
After working as an associate for a personal injury lawyer for several years, since 1993 he has owned/been a partner in plaintiff’s personal injury and litigation firms bearing his name. His practice encompasses automobile collisions, truck wrecks, motorcycle crashes, premises liability, animal attacks and wrongful death claims. He lost count of his trials after over 125 jury and civil bench trials.
He graduated from the Keenan Trial Institute undergraduate classes in 2024 but had been taking Reptile/Edge courses for over a decade before he did the Beast College.
His personal time is spent spoiling his granddaughter, out bowling his oldest son and making his youngest son’s life miserable. His favorite quote is from that well-known philosopher Wayne Gretzky: “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”
