About Ada
Ada K. Wong is the owner and managing partner of AKW LAW, P.C. based in Washington state. She is licensed in Washington and California. Her main practice areas include Employment Litigation and Civil Rights.
She teaches Employment Discrimination at the Seattle University School of Law. Ada also serves as an Arbitrator for King and Snohomish Counties.
Ada currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Washington State Association of Washington (WSAJ) Trial News, Editorial Board Member of the American Inns of Court The Bencher, Editorial Board Member of Trial Guides, and Public Relations Chair of the William L. Dwyer American Inns of Court. She was the Past-President of the Vietnamese American Bar Association of Washington. She is on the Board of Governors of WSAJ, and on the Executive Board of the Washington Employment Lawyers Association (WELA).
During the pandemic in fall 2020, Ada had one of the first fully virtual jury trials held in federal court in Washington. She obtained a $6,850,000 verdict against FedEx Freight, Inc.
She enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their three cats.
Ada is a graduate of the Keenan Trial Institute and teaches the Voir Dire and Mediation colleges.
