About Steve

Steve Sanders, the founder of The Law Offices of Steve Sanders L.C., in Kansas City, Missouri, has earned a strong reputation for his trial advocacy skills and ability to get results for his clients. He is committed to helping injured people and the families of wrongful death victims recover to the fullest extent possible physically, financially and emotionally.

Steve provides vigorous representation in cases involving car accidents, truck accidents, defective products and other acts of negligence. He has earned several verdicts and settlements in excess of $1 million, including a $10.7 million award for a woman who suffered a traumatic brain injury in a car accident. Steve has distinguished himself as one of the few plaintiff’s practitioners in Missouri and Kansas who routinely litigate insurance bad faith cases. Several of his clients have settled cases for far beyond the insurance policy limits. Steve is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Steve Sanders has a unique background for a personal injury lawyer. He earned his B.A. in Religious Education at Southwest Baptist University and a Master of Divinity degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. In 2001, Steve graduated with honors from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.

As an advocate, he works diligently to obtain full compensation for his clients in settlement negotiations and at trial. As a counselor, Steve provides comfort, guidance and emotional support for people who have suffered losses that are almost unimaginable. For Steve, an accident lawsuit is more than just a legal proceeding. It is a means to obtain justice and safeguard society. It is also a way for the accident victim and family to gain closure and the resources they need to rebuild their lives.
